Starting your own enterprise sounds exciting, isn't it?
However it's a brutal truth that entrepreneurship can be daunting and at times scary, especially in the initial days.
Many people who start a business begin with a real calling; they are passionate, determined and ambitious with dreams of seeing their brand grow and money rolling in the bank.
Despite all this, soon enough founder do realize that staying motivated and productive requires continuously learning new skills, habits and shunning the old one's.
Here are seven strategies that generally helps new age entrepreneurs to stay motivated which can help them get things done — even when they don’t feel like it:
1. Knowing what the end game is.
Having a clear vision, mission and purpose not only sounds great on your company website but also helps you and your team understand what you are working towards and what you aim to achieve. This is especially important during difficult days when you lose sight of why you are working so hard and putting hours in, sometimes for little or no results.
Staying focused on your ultimate goal and vision is the ultimate requirement when starting out.
This helps you remember why you embarked on your entrepreneurial journey in the first place.
2. Recognize the fear.
Knowing whether you have a fear of failure or success is crucial, as these are common reasons why people put things off.
For example, not wanting to get things wrong or not hitting targets can result in a fear of failure, which can lead you to bury your head in the sand and procrastinate; likewise, worrying what people might say when you make it, the fear of losing friends or having to leave people behind can cause you to hold yourself back.
Explore what scares you. By taking an honest look at what you're afraid of, you can move forward and face those fears. Remember that it's OK to make mistakes.
3. Dig a little deeper.
Depending on what you are putting off, if it becomes an unhealthy habit, it’s worth looking beneath the surface to uncover the limiting beliefs that are holding you back.
Many people hire a coach, mentor or therapist to assist them with digging deeper.

Find an accountability partner — someone who is going to challenge you to keep your word.

Many personal development and self-help books focus on how to get and stay motivated. However, on some days, you can find that it can even be a challenge to simply get up and show up. Some tasks are painful, challenging and can feel like a chore, especially when things are not going as planned. But you can’t simply wait to become motivated and only then decide to take action.
